Minnesota or Wisconsin: Hardware store cinema

A western film was screening just above the paint aisle.

This hardware store has plumbing equipment, hammers, paint, glue, drama, comedies, westerns and romantic comedies.

Yes, someone turned an old neighborhood movie theater into a hardware store. Customers can watch the action play out on the big screen while they wait for clerks to mix a quart of paint or find their screen repair order.

Of course, there’s free popcorn too.

And another bonus for old journalists like me, customers can browse through a hardbound copy of the local newspaper from 1988. There it is nicely displayed on a podium in the right of this picture. How much was a ticket to “Rain Main?”

But the real question is: Where can you find this repurposed gem? Minnesota or Wisconsin?

Post your answers in the comment section and win a free night stay at the NickMoore Hotel! We’ll also pop for a hardware store movie and popcorn.
